Welcome to St. Francis of Assisi

St. Francis of Assisi opened its doors in 1988.  We are located in Orleans at the corner of Charlemagne Boulevard and Watters Road.  We are an elementary school (JK to Grade 6) with a population of approximately 350 students.  Students who graduate from Grade 6 attend St. Peter High School, 750 Charlemagne Boulevard (just a five minute walk from St. Francis).

We continue to celebrate our Catholicity through cooperative efforts with our community in sponsoring charities throughout the year and maintaining close ties with our parish. We are proud of our staff's dedication and our students' accomplishments.

                                 Peace Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi

                             Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
                             Where there is hatred, let me sow love.
Where there is injury, pardon.
Where there is doubt, faith.
Where there is despair, hope.
Where there is darkness, light, and
Where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master,
Grant that I may not so much
seek to be consoled as to console;
To be understood, as to understand;
To be loved, as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive,
                            It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
                           And it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.
