PRESERVING OUR SCHOOL HISTORY - LAST YEAR IN REVIEW
Success for students, success for staff, and the wise use of resources: these three school board goals form the basis of many of the endeavours initiated by the staff of Sacred Heart. The integration of technology into all areas of the curriculum is a focus,as is the development of a strong Arts program, which uses our state-of-the-art theatre complex to its full potential. Strong academic programs, and courses designed to meet the needs of the high needs learner and those entering the work force directly, all strive to nuture excellence in our students. We are privileged to work in partnership with a caring and committed parish, business community and parent community, who share our goals and truly work collaboratively with us. This year we will be launching two new programs: The Specialist High Skills Major - The Environment, & Technology "Design & Build". We are also launching "Mathematics of College Technology" course for Grade 12 students (Algonquin College).
